Description

Long term plans that are beyond the "event horizon" of the engine analysis, basically invalidating its evaluation, are complementary to all of the tools I am building in LT. They may be useful in the "manual" learning/training features I am planning.

Good idea is to read the "how to play against Stockfish" posts and blogs.

Research direction

Start by reading the suggested “how to play against Stockfish” posts and blogs. The issue does not identify an implementation file, entry point, test, or concrete completion criteria; a useful next step would be to define which long-term strategies should be supported and how they would fit the planned manual learning or training features.
