Description

Hello,

It appears to me that the shopify-dev skill is a replacement of using "Shopify Dev MCP". However, on a small sample size, using "Shopify Dev MCP" seems to yield richer more relevant context / answers. I have not done a proper evaluation.

Suggestion 1:

If possible, could you perhaps add a section to your README.md and either say "you don't need Shopify Dev MCP because..." or "continue to use Shopify Dev MCP in combination if you want ..." or simply "What's the difference between this Plugin and Shopify Dev MCP". If not in the README as an FAQ, then perhaps on https://shopify.dev/docs/apps/build/ai-toolkit (or both).

Suggestion 2:

This page https://shopify.dev/docs/apps/build/ai-toolkit is not clear to me. The third bullet point seems to imply that "Shopify Dev MCP" is a replacement for this plugin. When I read the skills, it is not. I may be incorrect, but it is nevertheless confusing as a user.

Research direction

Start with README.md and the Shopify AI Toolkit page linked in the issue, then compare how the shopify-dev skill and Shopify Dev MCP are described. Update the relevant documentation to explain whether they replace or complement each other and clarify the confusing third bullet; done means a user can understand when to use each.
