Playground Project:
https://github.com/ShiftSoftware/DuckDB-Experimentation

  • Load large amounts of data to it DuckDB database file
  • Load large amounts of data to SqlServer and Postgres (Bulk CSV insert) (Local & Remote)
  • Observe Postgres Cost on Azure
  • Diff using Postgres and DuckDB
  • Consider using DuckDB or Postgres as a Consistent Datastore and source of Cosmos DB replication
