Cannot Remove Custom Home Icon in App Bar

Describe the bug / error

This is a follow up on the ticket with Microsoft 2408270050005248.
We are able to change the logo under Gear Icon > Global Navigation, however we are unable to remove it when we save, and it shows the previous logo which was used.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Viva Connections into Teams with a set homepage + global navigation enabled
2. Enable Home Site
3. Navigate to Gear icon > Global Navigation and replace home icon with something else
4. Save changes
5. Navigate back to Gear icon > Global Navigation and remove Home Icon
6. Save changes again
7. Navigate back to Gear icon > Global Navigation. the icon removed on step #5 will be there

Expected behavior

1. Icon should be removed when you click Remove under Gear icon > Global Navigation
2. If no new image provided for the button, it should fall back to the original Home icon
