Description

Description

I'm trying to use Dioxus with SeaOrm using Lazy to instantiate the connection, but because get_schema_registry / sync breaks "Send" requirement, it does not work.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create the connection in a separate thread and try to access it.
Expected Behavior
  1. Should be able to, as DatabaseConnection has Send
Actual Behavior
  1. get_schema_registry + sync breaks Send
Reproduces How Often
Workarounds

Versions

2.0.0-rc

Research direction

Start by reducing the reported separate-thread case involving get_schema_registry, sync, and DatabaseConnection, then inspect where the Send requirement is lost. Confirm the behavior against the Rust 2.0.0-rc setup and establish a regression case showing that the connection can cross the thread boundary while retaining Send.
