Description
TagBot could not automatically create releases for the following versions. This may be because:
- The commits modify workflow files (
.github/workflows/), whichGITHUB_TOKENcannot operate on - The tag already exists but the release failed to be created
- A network or API error occurred
Versions needing manual release
-
v2.30.0at commit945a9d1e- Error: Resource not accessible by integration: 403 {"message": "Resource not accessible by integration", "documentation_url": "https://docs.github.com/rest/releases/releases#create-a-release", "status": "403"}
How to fix
Run these commands locally:
gh release create v2.30.0 --generate-notes
Or create releases manually via the GitHub UI.
Prevent this in the future
If this is due to workflow file changes, avoid modifying them in the same commit as version bumps, or use a Personal Access Token with workflow scope.
See TagBot troubleshooting for details.

Research direction
Start by checking the linked TagBot run logs and the release state for tag v2.30.0 at commit 945a9d1e; review .github/workflows/ only if the logs indicate workflow-file permissions caused the failure. Create the missing release with the documented gh command or GitHub UI, and confirm that v2.30.0 has generated release notes.
