Description

I am wondering why Hyperopt is not included in the optimizers.

  • Probably this is intentional - I would be very happy about a short explanation why Hyperopt.jl is not applicable in this case
  • if not, was it overlooked or are there some difficulties?

Research direction

Review the existing optimizer integrations in Optimization.jl and the capabilities and requirements of Hyperopt.jl. A complete outcome would be a documented decision on whether Hyperopt.jl applies here, or a scoped integration plan if it does.
