Description

From the catch-all tracking issue https://github.com/SciML/ModelOrderReduction.jl/issues/78

Implement nonlinear mechanical model reduction onto Spectral Submanifolds (SSMs) for damped-forced systems and Lyapunov Subcenter Manifolds (LSMs) for conservative systems, including the explicit third-order reduction formulas.

Research direction

Start with the catch-all tracking issue #78 and the referenced paper, arXiv:1905.07794, to understand the requested SSM and LSM reduction methods. No source files or tests are named; done means implementing damped-forced and conservative nonlinear mechanical reduction, including the explicit third-order formulas.
