Research direction
Start with the Julia reproducer using DynamicalODEProblem, JumpProblem, VariableRateJump, and KahanLi8, then inspect the initialization path shown in the stack trace, especially OrdinaryDiffEq/src/solve.jl and DiffEqBase solve dispatch. Reproduce the failure for the ODE case and check the corresponding SDE combination. Done means supported ODE and SDE solvers run with VariableRateJump without the partitioned-ODE compatibility error, with regression coverage.
