Research direction
Start by locating the datafit implementation and its existing callback handling. Review how loss, test data, sensitivity values, tolerance, parameter values, and timer-based increments are currently represented. Done means the callback can access the requested standard options, including a way to pass test data, with documented behavior and coverage for the new interface.
