Description

This can be reproduced with

ode = ODEProblem(((du, u, ::Any, t) -> @. du = -u), ones(201), (0.0, 1.0))
sol = solve(ode; callback=PositiveDomain(), alg_hints=[:stiff])

or more directly with sol = solve(ode, CVODE_BDF(); callback=PositiveDomain())

Research direction

Start by running the two reproductions with PositiveDomain(), solve, and CVODE_BDF() to confirm the abstol error. Trace the interaction between PositiveDomain and CVODE_BDF, then verify that both examples run without the reported field error.
