Description

Operating system

Android

System version

Android 16

Installation type

Original sing-box Command Line

If you are using a graphical client, please provide the version of the client.

SFA 1.13.0-rc1

Version
N/A (installed from Google Play, Android graphical client)
Description

Tapping on a local config file (e.g. .bpf) does not auto-open or import
the file into sing-box from ANY source:

  • File Manager
  • Browser downloads
  • Messaging apps (Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.)

Previously, tapping the same file from any app would automatically open
sing-box and import the config.

Now the file is not handled at all by the app.

This worked correctly in previous versions.

Platform: Android
Android version: 16
Device: Samsung Galaxy A35

Integrity requirements
  • I confirm that I have read the documentation, understand the meaning of all the configuration items I wrote, and did not pile up seemingly useful options or default values.
  • I confirm that I have provided the server and client configuration files and process that can be reproduced locally, instead of a complicated client configuration file that has been stripped of sensitive data.
  • I confirm that I have provided the simplest configuration that can be used to reproduce the error I reported, instead of depending on remote servers, TUN, graphical interface clients, or other closed-source software.
  • I confirm that I have provided the complete configuration files and logs, rather than just providing parts I think are useful out of confidence in my own intelligence.

Research direction

Reproduce the failure on Android 16 with SFA 1.13.0-rc1 by tapping a local .bpf file from the listed sources. Start by tracing the app's file-opening and import handling, then verify that tapping the file opens sing-box and imports the configuration as it did previously.
