Question details
Is there a fast way to convert a F5 checkpoint that was trained using vocos mels to one that is compatible with bigvgan? For example, can we freeze most of the parameters, and only continue-train a small number of parameters? Or must we train all parameters again?

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by reviewing the project documentation and related papers, then inspect how vocos mel spectrograms and BigVGAN checkpoints are handled. Done would require a confirmed conversion path or a clearly scoped implementation plan, including whether partial retraining is viable.
