Description

CC: @leahy268 @bradystroud @adamcogan @jakebaylissssw @JackDevAU

Sometimes when editing rules, images that exist in the repo do not show up in the editor. This problem makes it hard to edit images for users.

@leahy268 noted that the images for the SharePoint rule shown below were uploaded via Netlify CMS and not via GitHub directly.

  • Investigate what we can do to resolve this issue or if we need to raise an issue in Netlify CMS

Start by reproducing the missing-image behavior while editing rules in Netlify CMS, using the SharePoint rule and the linked screenshot as the reference case. Trace whether images uploaded through Netlify CMS are present and discoverable in the repository, then determine whether the issue belongs in this project or should be raised with Netlify CMS.
