Hi Team,

We want to Gamify SSW.Rules to make it more fun for people.

As per Ken's conversation Adam, he approved the rules leaderboard mockups with the following 2 main features:

  • Add a leaderboard to the rules’ main page side bar
    • Show top 10 contributors
    • Tab menu to switch from 30 days, 90 days and All time, make 30 days by default
    • Add a button to view full leaderboard on the bottom
  • Add a new page to view full leaderboard
    • Show contributors names, total points earned, last contribution date and last rule updated
    • Drop down box to switch between 30 days, 90 days and all time
    • Add how it works button on the bottom of the page, click the button to show the explanation

Research direction

Begin by reviewing the two Zeplin mockups linked in the issue and locating the rules main page in the repository. Compare the existing page structure with the sidebar and full-page requirements, including the 30-day, 90-day, and all-time views. The work is done when both leaderboard views, contributor details, and the “how it works” explanation match the listed requirements.
