Description

The following pathfinding is a failure, right on the portal line. The algorithm seems to prefer wrapping around black spaces when heading southwest across portal lines.
Pathfinding Failure
Pathfinding Failure 2
Pathfinding Failure 3

Here is a last comparison between a movement on the east side of the portal connection (ideal) and secondly the west side (longer).

Pathfinding Failure 4

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the southwest movement across the portal line shown in the screenshots, comparing the east and west sides of the connection. Done means the pathfinder selects the shorter route instead of wrapping around black spaces.
