Description
Is there a way to force the client to stick to ip-address only while connecting?
For some reason, when passing the ip-address, it tries to resolve the underlyling DNS / hostname, which is currently not resolveable in our case - only ip is.

Research direction
No file or test is identified in issue #206. Start by locating the client connection entry point and reproduce a connection using an IP address that has no DNS resolution; done means the client connects without requiring hostname resolution, with coverage for that case.
