Description

I'm trying to build the lighthouse ethereum client in a risc-v unmatched board, and it fails with:

Compiling cpufeatures v0.2.12
error: This crate works only on `aarch64`, `loongarch64`, `x86`, and `x86-64` targets.

Please add support for the risc-v architecture.

Research direction

Start by inspecting cpufeatures' src/lib.rs around the target-support compile error shown in the report, then reproduce the lighthouse build for riscv64. Determine the architecture-specific support and validation needed; done means cpufeatures no longer rejects riscv64 and the reported build proceeds successfully.
