Description

From the PI Workshop June 2025

Interface could be more forceful / in-your-face with the instructions to submit a justification / submit answer 2nd time / submit before timer. Red text on screen appears in different places and is not always visible due to length of question and user scrolling, students have to look for it on the page or be lucky to scrolled to the correct place(s) at the correct time(s).

Low vision/accessibility of text chat – it was hard for me to differentiate between different users, username needs visual difference from text of message

Research direction

Start by locating the Peer Instruction text-chat interface and the on-screen instruction messages described in the workshop notes. Reproduce the scrolling and timer states, and inspect the supplied screenshot; done means instructions remain prominent and chat users and messages are visually distinguishable for low-vision users.
