No Badge for unread messages in Desktop App after updating RC to 8.5.0

Description:

Hi!
after updating the RC server to 8.5.0, messages are delivered as usual.
Both Windows and macOS apps display a “new message” notification, disapperaring after some seconds (as usual).
However, the desktop app symbol in the Windows task bar and in the macOS dock do not show a “1” badge anymore.
The issue persists after updating to 8.5.1

Steps to reproduce:

Have the RC desktop app minimized or in the background.
Ask someone to send you a message.

Expected behavior:

The app shows a desktop notification that disapperas after some seconds.
The app icon in the task bar (Windows) or dock (macOS) shows a "1" badge.

Actual behavior:

The app shows a desktop notification that disapperas after some seconds.
The app icon in the task bar (Windows) or dock (macOS) doe NOT show a "1" badge.
