Research direction
Reproduce the tray icon behavior on Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS using Rocket.Chat 4.14.1, starting with the desktop tray entry point. Confirm how the icon appears and whether unread messages change its state; done means the icon is recognizable and visibly indicates unread messages.
