Description

Description:

The "resizing window" functionality is not available in Rocket.Chat, similar to how it's implemented in Slack. The feature is expected to allow resizing the chat window for a more flexible user experience but currently, there seems to be no such option in the interface.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Open Rocket.Chat either in the browser or the desktop app.
  2. Try resizing the chat window by dragging the corners or edges.
  3. Notice that no resize option appears or the window remains static in size.
Expected behavior:

The user should be able to resize the Rocket.Chat window similar to other messaging platforms, such as Slack.

Actual behavior:

The chat window remains fixed in size, and there is no visible option to resize it.

Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are identified. Start by reproducing the fixed-size behavior in both the browser and desktop app, then determine which chat window is in scope and how resizing should work. Done means the intended Rocket.Chat window can be resized consistently, with the expected behavior agreed and verified.
