Description
Hi, I would suggest the ability to log edit history.
I currently use channels and post update logs. Since the updates are frequent, the edits are overwritten each time in order to look uncluttered.
But this makes it difficult to query the log. I hope it would be nice to be able to post issue like github to show the edit history can also be compared.
Of course, if you feel that editing just doesn't allow people to see the record, you can make a switch? Or private chat doesn't allow viewing, only channels can view it, etc.
My thought is that if you guys have concerns, you could make the edits viewable by the editors themselves. No one else can view the history This would be great, keeping the current effect on top of being able to look at the records.
Of course I'd prefer it to be viewable by all members. It would be nice to have more user-friendly settings, such as allowing everyone to see it or adding member permissions.
I hope it can be adopted.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are mentioned. Start by clarifying the required edit-history behavior, including visibility for channels, private chats, editors, and members, then identify the message editing and permission paths; done should include agreed settings, query behavior, and comparison display.
