I am missing message notifications

Description:

I have a critical issue - I am missing message notifications.
I posted about it on the forum but unfortunately did not receive any feedback.

I have chats with a lot of people and I do not want to receive notifications from these chats, except in two scenarios:

• if I am mentioned
• if I ask a question there and receive a reply in the thread

Currently, if I am mentioned, it will not be visible in the desktop application at all. In the mobile application, there will be a red dot, but not in the "unread chats" list, only if I scroll through.

If someone replies to me in the thread, I don't see anything.

Start by reproducing the missing mention and thread-reply notifications using the reported Rocket.Chat Server 6.0.0 and Desktop App 3.9.6 setup, then compare desktop and mobile behavior with the notification settings shown in the linked forum thread. Done means mentions and replies are visibly surfaced as described while other chat notifications remain suppressed.
