Unable to have a video conference with Jitsi

Description:

When trying to have a video call from any computer with any user within a chat Jitsi shows that the interlocutor has a disabled camera and mic. However works fine if I try to have a call with a mobile device

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to any channel or direct conversation
2. Click on Start a video call
3. Confirm you want to start a video call
4. After a Jitsi tab appears in browser allow to use camera and mic
5. Voila - you can see interlocutor has joined, but you cannot see him or hear him

Expected behavior:

On step 5 - you can see and hear the person you want to have a conference with

Start by reproducing the Jitsi call from a channel or direct conversation using the listed browser and operating-system combinations. Check whether both participants can grant camera and microphone access and whether the failure is specific to desktop clients. Done means two computer users can see and hear each other in the Jitsi call.
