Description

Description:

After Snap RocketChat upgrade to version 3.6.2, the Livechat Offline Form is no longer able to send email. Clicking on "Send" does not do anything.

  1. Enable Livechat/Omnichannel offline form in administration console.
  2. Make sure no Livechat agents are logged on.
  3. Browse to Livechat offline form (widget) and fill out form and try to send.
Expected behavior:

When Livechat is offline, when users fill out offline form and click on "Send", it should send form to specified email address.

Actual behavior:

When users click on "Send", nothing happens.

Research direction

Start by enabling the Livechat/Omnichannel offline form in the administration console and reproducing the failure from the widget with no agents logged in. Inspect the browser behavior when Send is clicked; done means the completed offline form sends to the configured email address.
