Description
Description:
I'm trying to replicate RocketChat/hubot-rocketchat#126 with the internal hubot.
The regular hubot-rocketchat adapter supports a callMethod extension that allows to call arbitrary meteor methods.
This appears to be missing from the internal hubot adapter making it much less useful.
Server Setup Information:
- Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 0.64.0
- Operating System: Linux
- Deployment Method(snap/docker/tar/etc): docker
- Number of Running Instances: 1

Research direction
Start with the referenced hubot-rocketchat index.js implementation of callMethod, then locate the internal hubot adapter in Rocket.Chat. The work is complete when the internal adapter provides equivalent support for calling arbitrary Meteor methods; verify it with the adapter's existing checks or tests if present.
