Research direction

No file or test is named. Start by reproducing the roaring 64 example and inspecting how it uses CPU and threading; determine whether multi-core execution is supported and whether the request needs documentation or a scoped design. Done should be a clear supported approach or a documented conclusion about the example's behavior.
