Need assistance about location settings inside Rimsort

Describe the bug

I'm using non steam rimworld version 1.6.4871, when i try to locate rimworld's executable and save the path i encounter not valid rimworld executable error, This "/Applications/RimWorld.app/Contents/MacOS/" is my path, and inside MacOS folder was a executable of rimworld named rimworld by ludeon, which when i encoutered the error tried to change it's name to "RimworldMac.app" but i got the same error. By the way Rimworld.app is located inside /Applications itself but when i try the path"/Applications" i encounter the same error. Can i receive guide or assistance about this matter, pls?
