Description

With the recent improvements around shell detection, I believe it would be reasonably simple to add at least initial support for more "exotic" remotes (via e.g. Rex::Interface::Shell::Cisco or similar).

@shafiev: IIRC you mentioned Cisco network device support shortly at YAPC::EU, and that you might be able to help with the research and/or testing, right? If you're still in Granada for the hackathon on this Saturday, we can take a look together, but I created this issue anyway so we don't forget about it :)

Research direction

Start by reviewing the recent shell-detection improvements and the proposed Rex::Interface::Shell::Cisco entry point. Research Cisco remote behavior and coordinate testing with someone familiar with Cisco devices. Done means initial Cisco network-device support is implemented and tested, but the issue does not define the required behavior or test location.
