Search results doesn't clear properly

Description
search for any text whichever in your API content. it gives you set of search results.
Next do Ctrl + A in search placeholder with text and clear the whole text using backspace key.
We have noticed that after clearing search placeholder value, it still shows search results on left panel (menubar) and highlights the occurrences of the text.
Issue is not often but if you try multiple times you could notice.

Research direction
Reproduce the issue by searching API content, then selecting all text in the search placeholder and clearing it with Backspace. Inspect the search UI behavior when the value becomes empty. Done means the left-panel search results and highlighted occurrences disappear reliably after clearing the placeholder.
