Description

Expected Behaviour
Current Behaviour
  • When a Member is trying to update the Title of self task then the request is getting revoked by the backend validation checks.
    image
Possible Solutions
  • We have Task Validator in Middlewares to put a check for the allowed props that can be updated by the members in the self-talk section.
  • By making changes in the Task validator for the selfTask can be a possible solution.

Research direction

Start at the Task Validator middleware described in the issue and trace the self-task update request. Check how allowed member-updatable properties are defined, then verify that a member can update the title of their own task without changing other restrictions. Confirm the behavior with the relevant backend validation tests.
