Description

1. Environment

  • Device: Pixel 6
  • OS: Android 14
  • APP: 0.10.1

2. Describe the feature request

Some services that implement the Google Reader API, like FreshRSS and Miniflux, support OpenID Connect for authentication. This would be very useful for accessing those services behind authentication middleware like Authelia, Authentik, and Keycloack, that support OpenID Connect.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named in the issue. Start by mapping the app's existing authentication and Google Reader API integration, then determine the OIDC flow needed for FreshRSS and Miniflux behind Authelia, Authentik, or Keycloak. Done means supported services can authenticate through OpenID Connect.
