Open the package's Makevars file and locate the PKG_CXXFLAGS = CXX11STD assignment. Remove that assignment, then run grep -r CXX11 to confirm the forbidden reference is gone; done means the package no longer contains that setting and can satisfy CRAN's check.

CRAN will now insist on that being removed anyway, as confirmed yesterday in email from UL which explained that their check is now just grep -r CXX11, so this package will fail in current form.
