Description

This might make its results more precise, by preventing the OS from moving the process around. Could be done with hwloc-bind.

Research direction

Start by locating the Perl 6 process that runs the benchmarking code and inspect how benchmark commands are launched. Check whether hwloc-bind is available in the execution environment and compare benchmark behavior before and after core binding. Done means the process can be pinned without breaking benchmark runs and the results are demonstrably more consistent.
