Description
Currently, there is very limited support for select on read, which means that all data inside the MS must be read in before one can downselect the data that you want. It would be nice if read_ms could be upgraded with the appropriate TAQL commands to be able to do that.

Research direction
Start with the read_ms entry point and investigate the existing select-on-read support and the appropriate TAQL commands for Measurement Sets. Done means read_ms can downselect requested data while reading instead of loading all data from the MS first.
