Description
This is how I renamed master to main in all of MY repos on GitHub at once:
https://git.io/JPRtG
If you have local clones run this:
usethis::git_default_branch_rediscover()
If you do this it's at your own risk.

Research direction
Read the linked guide and the usethis::git_default_branch_rediscover() example first. The issue shares a personal bulk-renaming procedure but does not name a repository file, test, requested edit, or completion condition.
