Description
Some people have network requests failing for e.g. installing mods.
Apparently spamming the install button does allow them to get through at some point. Maybe we should just retry a few times on failed network request (with some wait time) to alleviate the issue.

Research direction
The issue does not name files, tests, or an entry point. Start by locating the network request used for mod installation and reproduce the failure path; done means failed requests retry a few times with a wait and installation no longer requires repeated button presses.
