Error: Not yet implemented for "linux" with Titanfall2 installed via "UNKNOWN"

I have Titanfall 2 on the EA App and I use Lutris to open the game with Proton-GE 11.2 or Proton CachyOS 11 and the same wine prefix for all my EA App games ( ~/Games/ea-app ); I tried using the .AppImage provided in the release and after selecting the game folder and trying to launch I get this error:

Not yet implemented for "linux" with Titanfall2 installed via "UNKNOWN"

Personally I believe the issue might be the launcher not having the necessary Wine prefix to use the EA App and select the Proton Version to use, but this is just what I believe.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks in advance.

Start by reproducing the AppImage launch with Titanfall 2 installed through the EA App, using the ~/Games/ea-app Wine prefix and one of the reported Proton versions. Trace how the launcher identifies the installation source when the result is "UNKNOWN"; done means the game can be selected and launched without the not-yet-implemented error.
