Description

I am using the latest available version of RedReader on F-Droid, 1.18.

When I am logged into my Reddit account, which has 0 subscribed sub-reddits, the Subscribed Subreddits still shows a long list of what looks like default sub-reddits configured in the app. So I tried to unsubscribe from all of those by pressing and holding on each sub-reddit's name and then selecting the 'Unsubscribe' option. All the sub-reddits went away after I did this.

But in the next time that I opened the app, all these sub-reddits are back again and won't go away unless I manually unsubscribe from all of them. The same issue happens if I switch to the anonymous account after removing all the sub-reddits when logged in, and then switch back to my Reddit account.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the report in RedReader 1.18 with a Reddit account that has no subscribed subreddits, then repeat it after switching to the anonymous account and back. The issue names no source files or tests; done means the default subreddit list no longer returns after it has been removed.
