PSA: /r/all is going to get removed from Reddit soon!

The enshittification of Reddit continues. Reddit's default feed /r/all is going to be removed soon, replaced by the more controlled & personalized algorithm based /r/popular. They already removed the link in the menu of the redesign, but for the moment it is still accessible through the URL. However, they clearly stated that this will change, and this will of course also affect RedReader, which links to /r/all instead of /r/popular.

I don't know what this will mean for the app, which is already having issues with things like Reddit's share links not being usable in the app. As for me, I will likely use Reddit even less, and I'm already back to just lurking since the big drama back then. But now I guess I will only browse my selected group of specific subs, which is not going to be a whole lot.

Small sort of band-aid fix is the search query "-author:me", which shows all posts not by you, sorted by top for the past day, which gives at least somewhat similar results as /r/all. Maybe there could be a hotlink to that implemented into the app?

Start by reviewing the linked Reddit announcement and the current RedReader entry point that links to /r/all; the payload does not name a file or test. Determine whether the app should link to /r/popular or expose the suggested "-author:me" search, then define completion around the selected replacement working in the app.
