Description
Hello,
This is a feature request. It would be great if the exported file for backing up the app preferences/settings to use a text-based format (like json, xml, or whatever) instead of the current .rr_prefs_backup format which is not very human readable, and therefore difficult to compare different backups.
Thanks!

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Locate the preference backup export and import paths, then determine a text format and compatibility requirements; done means backups are human-readable and can still be restored and compared reliably.
