Description

Inspired by this Reddit post on r/RedReader:
https://www.reddit.com/r/RedReader/comments/v01uyh/is_it_possible_to_change_the_color_of_the/

I found the post above talking about how the bright white buttons can burn in on OLED phone screens. Maybe a preference setting can be added to change the colour or the opacity of the buttons?

I can work on this issue if need be.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. First clarify whether the preference should change button colour, opacity, or both, and identify the existing Android button styling and preference handling. Done means users can configure the requested appearance and the setting is applied consistently.
