Description
Could the simulation of paths from lqcontrol.py be done by calling the simulation methods from the linear state space module (lss.py)? That would be a nice way to integrate them.

Research direction
Start by comparing the path-simulation code in lqcontrol.py with the simulation methods in lss.py. Trace how each module represents and simulates paths, then determine whether LQ control can use the LSS methods; done means the simulations are integrated without duplicating the existing LSS behavior.
