Describe the fix or the content request.

The syntax for post-selection was changed in addon-utils 0.4.0. It now also comes with a detailed tutorial.

I think there is still value in the post-selection page in Guides, since that particular tutorial is a bit hard to discover today, but perhaps the content can be simplified (and link to the tutorial).

In addition, we should add a note to the noise learner page that, if you are applying both post-selection and PEA/PEC to a circuit, you must specify the same post-selection options in the main job and noise learning job.

Research direction

Start by reading the Guides post-selection page, the noise-learning page, and the linked post-selection tutorial to compare the current syntax with addon-utils 0.4.0. Simplify or update the post-selection guide while preserving its purpose and linking the tutorial, then add the note that post-selection options must match between the main job and noise-learning job when using PEA/PEC.
