Description

Describe the bug
Usually, if you have File Explorer open on a monitor, pressing space will open the QuickLook window on the same monitor that the File Explorer window is located on. However, when previewing a file that is located on the desktop, pressing space opens the QuickLook window on the Main Monitor, not on the monitor where the file is on

To Reproduce

  1. Move a file/folder to your second monitor's desktop
  2. Press space
  3. QuickLook opens on main monitor

Expected behavior
QuickLook opens on the second monitor

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS Version: Windows 10 v.20H2
  • QuickLook Version 3.6.11 [msi]

Research direction

No source file or test is named. Reproduce on Windows 10 v20H2 with a second monitor and a file on the desktop, then verify that QuickLook opens on that monitor rather than the main monitor.
