Description
Hi there,
i'm a fullstack web dev and a part time sound designer...
I just passed after 8 years from thiefing' OSX to a real-time Windows machine for my audio studio environment. I have a Focusrite Scalett 18i20 as my main audio board, with some really strong preamps and a built in AD/DA and a pair of Eve SC307.
As soon as i installed your plugin (essential for a musician) i noted some audio clips (micro distortions) passing fastly from a mp3 to another, and clearly these are not so good for some referral monitor on the high ends (dont want to destroy 3000€ cones).
I would love to hear from you it is possible to add a time declarable (0 to 3000ms?) and optionally activatable fade in and fade out sliders/integer inputs.
Thank you so much for your work!

Research direction
The issue does not name files, tests, or an entry point. Begin by locating the audio-track switching implementation and reproducing the reported micro-distortions on Windows. Clarify the fade-in and fade-out behavior and duration controls before defining completion as clean transitions with the requested optional controls.
