Description
Pausing Video.
I find it a bit cumbersome and frustrating to only be able to pause a video by clicking on the small pause button. It would be much more convenient if I could left click the mouse button to pause video anywhere on video display area. This could be an option however once it is enabled it stays consistently on for all future views of videos. Alternatively if it can be added via plugin somehow that could be a way to appease everyone if people find it objectionable.
Thank you for the consideration and excellent work.

Research direction
Start by locating the video display area and the existing small pause button handling. Determine how a left click could pause playback and how an optional persistent setting or plugin approach fits the request; done means the requested click behavior works consistently without disrupting existing controls.
