Description

Since I need to use everything1.5a with admin permissions, I found that the QuickLook permissions can't be lower than Everything to achieve preview, so I adjusted the QuickLook permissions to admin permissions. The previous issue was solved as I expected, but a bug occurred: QuickLook under administrator privileges could not directly preview any files on the desktop.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with Everything 1.5a and QuickLook both running under administrator privileges, then compare preview behavior for desktop files with different permission settings. Done means QuickLook can directly preview desktop files in the reported administrator configuration without regressing the previously solved permission behavior.
