Description:
This feature focuses on improving support for energy storage technologies within OSM data processing:
- Adding dedicated support for batteries and other storage technologies in OSM data
- Improving detection and classification mechanisms for different storage facility types
- Enhancing the data model to better represent various storage capabilities (capacity, duration, technology type)
With the growing importance of storage in power system modeling, this enhancement will ensure that PPM can effectively incorporate storage facilities from OSM data, providing more comprehensive inputs for energy system models.
